A October 2013 Straight Talk Letter to the Mormon Leadership

Dear Mormon Leadership,

I write as a Reformed Baptist preacher as the least of our Christian fellowship and friendship in the Reformed local church.

I am respectfully writing in the spirit of Ravi Kumar Zacharias who spoke and ministered to one of your Mormon churches.  I heard about this publicly, but some of the details were hidden regarding what was said to that particular Mormon leadership.  I mention it not because I know him, but because I share in the same vision.

To sum it up seek to hearken to these words:

1.)  A holy Triune God is eternally self-existent as Three in One, and One in Three.  That is, He is not three separate gods or created gods, but He always existed as Triune in a distinct sense without denying the one essence of God.

2.)  Spiritual salvation is not works, but it is grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

3.)  The greatest Man who ever lived was Jesus Christ alone, because He saves souls that no one can reach except Him alone.  Therefore He as the self-existent God-man is greater and better than any human since Adam to the end of the world.

These matters focus on where you will spend eternity.  It is of eternal importance.  I write to seek to do what I can to share with you the Trinitarian Gospel of the unaddable Scriptures.

Grace and peace be unto you.

In the self-existent King,

MA Petillo
Reformed Baptist Preacher
